National Lighthouse Day booklist

I don’t know about you, but I love lighthouses.  There’s just something so charming and fascinating about them and their history.  I love how each has its own character.  In honor of National Lighthouse Day, here’s a few books about lighthouses!

And now I’ll leave you with two lighthouses I visited last summer in Maine.  It was pouring rain.  And I mean pouring.  But it was still fun to visit.

Portland Head lightex

The Portland Head Light.  I think this is the most visited lighthouse in Maine, and it was definitely the easiest one to get to.

And the adorably tiny Port Clyde lighthouse.
