Do you need a digital detox? Sometimes I definitely feel like I do. I have accounts on a lot of the major social media sites, but my biggest addiction is Pinterest. I was logging in multiple times each day just to see the few new pins. The worst part was that I never did anything with what I pinned, and just kept going back for more “inspiration” that I would probably never look at again. One of my goals for 2014 was to step back from Pinterest and so far, I’ve been pretty successful. I look at it once or twice a week, am much more judicious about what I pin, periodically clean out my boards, and have been trying to actually use the recipes and projects that I pin. I have felt much better and realized I don’t need to hoard ideas like I was.
